Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India was among the earliest Management Schools in India. It was established in 1968. Since its establishment it has produced more than 3000 young managers. It offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of International Business Administration (MIBA) degree. It was the second institute in India to offer degree in International Business Administration (after IIFT).
Its products are now among the leading lights both in corporate sector as well as academic line. The Faculty was also ranked among the top 30 business institutes in India by Outlook magazine in its survey for the year 2005.
Among the illustrious alumni are Mr K. Nagesh (CEO, Shopper's Stop, Mumbai), Mr. Udai Upendra, Head and Vice President- Global HR, Ranbaxi Laboratories and Mr. Umendra Kr. Gupta, CMD, Holostik India Ltd.
