Face the Promise is an album by Bob Seger. This album was originally planned to be released in 2004 and then delayed to 2005. It was finally officially released on September 12, 2006. According to many webpages it took Bob Seger 6 years work on "Face The Promise." [1] The first single, "Wait For Me", premiered in July 2006. This is also his first studio album since It's a Mystery in 1995.

During 2004, when working on the album, he was recording at the same studio as 3 Doors Down when 3DD's manager asked if he would sing on their album. Seger and 3DD lead singer, Brad Arnold, both sing on "Landing In London" on the album Seventeen Days.

The album has been a pleasant surprise with over 1,000,000 copies sold in the US, thus making it platinum.
