Fabio Luisi

Fabio Luisi (born Genoa 1959) is an Italian conductor. He studied conducting in Graz, and held several positions in opera-houses throughout Germany and Austria. He is currently (as of 2006) principal conductor of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. He is also the Chief Conductor Designate of the Staatskapelle Dresden.
