Fabian Wilnis (born August 23, 1970 in Paramaribo, Suriname) is a Dutch right-sided defender who currently plays for Ipswich Town. He is now one of the longest serving players at the club, having arrived from De Graafschap in 1999. He has also played for NAC Breda and in his Ipswich Town career he has scored six goals, which include goals against Manchester United and local rivals Norwich City. A popular player with fans, who walked away with the accolade of supporters' Player of the Year for 2005/06.

Under Jim Magilton's era, Wilnis has found himself on the sidelines more than he would like, but has still expressed an interest in renewing his contract come the end of the seaosn. Whether Magilton wants to keep this wily old defender is not yet clear.
