1910 FA Cup Final
The game was played at Crystal Palace, Newcastle had lost their previous 3 finals at the stadium and it was thought of as their bogey ground.
The match ended in a draw of 1 each. Jock Rutherford scoring for Newcastle and Harry Tufnell for Barnsley
A replay was arranged at Goodison Park, which Newcastle won 2 - 0.
Albert Shepherd scored both goals, one of them being the first penalty scored in an FA Cup final.
Arthur Fitzgerald Kinnaird, 11th Lord Kinnaird presented the cup to Newcastle captain Colin Veith
