Commander, Strike Force Training Pacific, Rear Adm. Gerald R. Beaman, launches from the flight deck in an F/A-18 Super Hornet, assigned to the "Black Aces" of Strike Fighter Squadron Four One (VFA-41), during flight operations on the flight deck aboard nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68).
