Fédération Régions et Peuples Solidaires
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fédération Régions et Peuples Solidaires is a political federation of various regionalist parties (particularly of centre-left affiliation) in France. It was founded in 1995, in order to organise a coordinated combat against "Parisian centrism" and "Jacobin conception of peoples" on the French state level. Its president is Gustave Alirol, the chairman of Partit Occitan. The federation has ties with the European Free Alliance (although it is not a member) and is active in campaigning. However, their electoral presence in France is negligible.
Members of Fédération ("federated parties") are:
- Breizh
- Union démocratique bretonne
- Frankiz Breizh
- Catalunya
- Bloc Català
- Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya
- Corsica
- Elsass
