Fátima Leyva

Fatima Leyva (born February 14, 1980) is an Association football player from Mexico. She plays mid-fielder for the Mexico women's national football team.

During her international career, Leyva has participated at numerous tournaments, namely the CONCACAF (1998), Nike Cup (1998, 2000), World Cup (1999), Pan American Games (1999, 2003) and Copa de Oro (2000) tournaments.

After the Mexican national team failed to qualify for the 2003 women's World Cup, she was hired by Telemundo as a color commentator for their Cup transmissions.
