[edit] South and West
If we are going to wtrite about the claims, then the southernmos point is the South Pole, and the westernomst is a line, thet is the 25ºW (south pole to 60ºS) and maybe (i am not sure) the easternmost is 74ºW (the other limit of the Argentine Antarctica -- Argentino 20:54, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- I suspect you are right, but just to check - does Argentina claim Argentine Antarctica as an integral part of the nation (and for that matter, what is its position on South Georgia and the Falklands/Malvinas? Warofdreams talk 21:36, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

- Argentina holds only claims on the Antarctic, so you can't consider it for its extreme points. It ouwld be good though to clarify it in the article. For instance, Extreme points of the United Kingdom doesn't include not only the antarctic territories, but not even territories in dispute such as the Falklands. - I ussualy considere .gvo sites ar "true" and many of theme have both continental and recognized and territorial claims claims. this is really good [1] very very complete info about arg. geog. By the way, argentina holds only claims over the Falklands, South Georgia, and South Sandwich, too. And the sector of Antarctica does is an intagral part of the territory (see it)- Argentino 19:41, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Then I guess we should do it as they do it here , separating the 'American Part' from the Antarctic Part (with an aclaration on the treaty). Whatcha think? Mariano(t/c) 07:27, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
