Hi yes thanks for your great praise. A masssive part of wikipedia is missing!!!! No I always categorize by nationality e.g American actors ALWAYS. However I realised only less than a week ago that Silent actor category has national sub cats too. I also forgot to delete the Mollie mcConnel. The photograph is of Loiuse Lester. [edit] Kerli Kõiv

The speedy deletion template you place on the article for Kerli Kõiv was wholly inapproprite. According to WP:Music guidelines, an artist is notable if they are signed to a major label, Kõiv is signed to Island Def Jam (a major label), has taken part in the Melodifestivalen and ranked number seven, has an article in the Finnish Wikipedia, and has an entry at the Internet Move Database [1] and has performed at Eurovision. All of these criteria are sufficiently notable and your addition of the speedy deletion tag is against WP:Music guidelines for notability. ExRat 04:47, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

  • IF you will note, none of this is on that page! If you deem the page something to keep, I would suggest you add all of this information!
    • The only things on that page are of dubious notariety:
an appearence @ Eurolaul - not winner
a 7th place finish in the Swedish Melodifestivalen, in the 2nd semi-final
The last is Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, an album for future release.
  • WOuld you please add your data to bring this page up to standards.

[edit] Elvis Presley, Nick Adams et al.

Hi. Thanks for your note. My advice would be, however, that you not spend too much time on these issues. User onefortyone is obsessed and it's not worth it. Take care. Lochdale 04:53, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Lochdale's probably right there. And clearly Bauder sees nothing wrong about the direction in which the article has turned and none of the others disagrees with him or wants to think about this. If you want to proceed, read up all the rules first. -- Hoary 08:10, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
If you really want to get involved in the article (either Presley or Adams) then be aware that you are going up against a user who is singularly obsessed with both. Make sure you have a lot of time on your hands! By the way, I like your user page. Looks good. Lochdale 17:38, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Aha, you're Estonian!

When you're not concerned with anglophone pop singers, how about Estonian matters? Category:Lithuanian photographers: population six. Category:Estonian photographers: population one. Actually I'm surprised and delighted to see that Pääsuke has a (stub) article: he's a most interesting photographer and I picked up a book of his work just three months ago in Tartu. But such figures as Carl Sarap also deserve articles. -- Hoary 08:10, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Those patrolling Recent Changes wait for nobody :). The clean-up tag is a reminder that you should get the article up to quality standards before submitting it. Working on a new article off-line is always a good idea before submitting. thewinchester 06:04, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Then if it is a stub, then put the stub tag on it. thewinchester 06:11, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Point taken looks as though there is need for the civility in another direction, thats the part I didnt see. SatuSuro 08:14, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Marianne Faithfull

Thanks for the kudos! I did try to regroup things a bit.

It still doesn't have many references....I may try to tackle that yet. NickBurns 02:33, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Invitation

Yo, I noticed you're working real hard on the list of LGB people. Great work, so would you be interesting in joining WikiProject LGBT studies. I think you'd be a real asset. Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 16:18, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
