I assume that this is over the WIKIMAPIA submissions. There are those who state I'm telling the truth. Given the history of the island, I think I'm on the right side. By the way, I would not kill innocents. Just terrorists. I'm not anti-Hellenist. I am anti-enosis. Big difference.

Seems like you never read the news - enosis has been dead since 1960, even Makarios said that.

But Sampson did, and it was his antics that caused the intervention. The partition ensures that the Turkish Cypriots no longer have to live with a knife at their throats.

At the expense of 1)treason against the Republic, and 2) being slaves to their Turkish overloads and 3)having the rest of Cypriots living in fear of Turkish aggression. Why such general hatred against Greek-Cypriots? Why do you propagate it instead of appealing to the moderate majority? I have seen your answers in forums. Why dont you open your ears to the hate that is being spread on Turkish websites as well as the hatred spread in Greek ones? Is only one of your ears open? Why have you evolved to the point of accusing, unknowst to you, moderate Greek-Cypriots of waiting to kill? (UNFanatic)

Those comments I posted were at the request of an ATCA member who could not. It states matter-of-factly the T/C perspective of the argument. I don't think I mentioned 'hatred' as of late. I don't have any beef against Greek Cypriots willing to live quietly in South Cyprus. My beef is against those who seek to eradicate the Turkish Cypriot presence on the island.

You think that reunification eradicates the TC's presence. I seriously doubt that. You do not take into account EU rules and requirements(the end of isolation coupled with the reunification of the island with the appropriate powersharing arrangements back in place from 1960, or a fusion of the organs of governance with a new agreement backed by the EU). I know your position already since you have stated it many times. What I cannot understand is your failure to see a bigger picture and that is that the majority of people from both sides of the divide are moderates unlike those who you apparently support (ATCA website, and others). I must say unlike the facist Greeks that still exist. Facist Greeks (enosists) and fascist Turks(Grey Wolves) are a detriment to the existance of a reunified independent Cyprus as stipulated in the original treaty. To accuse the Greeks and I quote you "rousy Geek Cypriot plicks" as the main party is highly onesided and highly inaccurate. (UNFanatic)

I also take issue with the fact that 1) you participate in forums which call non-Turks "gavurs" meaning infidels in an active sense. Nationalists have a heavy blame here in this regard, whoever they may be(be it Greek or Turk). 2) You state that you were "pushed" into name-calling but in this instance it is you who has to learn self-control, which you lack. I give respect and honor for any one who is willing to have a regular conversation, but not a reactionary one based on one's ego.

I also recognize your position(for a long time). I respect it, and take issue with it because you use the Western values that we all take for granted and apply them in a nonchalant way to a problem based on lies, deceit and ego that has helped tear Cyprus apart in 1974.

I read Atca forum as well as Greek, Cypriot and Turkish forums and to break it to you, it sucks like all other nationalist forums. Congratulations for being their pawn.

Bottom line - Please learn self control.

P.S. I would like to have an opportunity to see how your thoughts evolved with this issue in a historical sense. What drove you to have such an innate hatred of Greeks in particular. And namecalling doesnt count. Any experiences in school, college, army, profession. Have you visited overseas and saw something that upset you? (UNFanatic)

As you're not my shrink, I don't intend to go into details, save that I have seen - and been subjected to - examples of Greek xenophobia and zealousness. Also, I've been following the Cyprus issue for years, and that I knew that the unitary state concept was a failed concept from the start. The events of December 1963 and the coup d'etat of 1974 proved that Greece was unwilling to have Turks on territory they claim as their own. And since the concept of Self-Determination (which is mentioned somewhere in the UN Charter, I believe) is something that has been denied to the Turkish Cypriots FOR POLITICAL REASONS ONLY, it is something that I will not go along with.
