Talk:Expressivity
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I completely disagree on the note on variable expressivity. Here you find something on the term, and that is how it is used consistently in human genetics: http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/handbook/inheritance/penetranceexpressivity
It refers simply to the often highly variable phenotype in spite of a similar, or even exactly same, genotype, in human genetics. Generally found in autosomal-dominant diseases, where even in the same family, different affected family members show widely different symptoms......
Anyone agree on this?
