[edit] On Experience

Experience is a subject of philosophy, and we all learn everything solely by experience (including the experience of reading). Without the experience we have difficulty expressing the thought or act, and this is self-evident in invention where the new takes time to create and distribute, but the old is well known and taught. This has an implication that the more unique things you experience and the more meaningful things you experience (such as experiencing a philosophy book instead of watching Star Trek or Dr. Who--they give false answers for the world no matter how entertaining, so your experience just added false answers to your personality) you gain a better understanding of the world. You project everything you experienced, and this is called projection, and we cannot help ourselves in this, but with wisdom we can control our answers, and the projection of your experiences and resulting knowledge is always there no matter how subtle.

You won't find one, the attrition rate is terrible.

[edit] Experience background

This page needs a lot of work, especially in the history of philosophy, German philosophy in particular (i.e. Erfahrung) with a discussion that goes back to Kant at least.Brosi 22:23, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Erfahrung

There is a very sophisticated page in the German part on Erfahrung, but how to link it is beyond me.Brosi 22:34, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
