Expo Latino

Expo Latino is an annual festival, usually held towards the end of August, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, celebrating the Latino culture. The event holds musical performances of many genres, including Salsa, Jazz, Merengue, Folk, Flamenco, Cumbia, Reggaeton, and Hip-Hop. In addition, food and merchandise vendors can be found at the festival, as well as information booths of Latin organizations in Calgary.

The 2006 event ran from August 22–27, including an opening ceremony on the 22nd and a concert by Fuego Latino on the 23rd, with the main festival events running from the 25th to 27th. There were also longer running times for the festival in 2006, with the 25th and 26th shows, on Friday and Saturday repectively, running for the first time until midnight.
