Captain Apollo and Lieutenant Starbuck catch up with the escaping Eastern Alliance craft and follow it back to Terra.

However, before they can make contact with the planet, they are plucked out of space by the same powerful alien race that helped them defeat Count Iblis. The alien's representative, John, asks them to help him prevent a war that will affect them all.

Apollo is sent down to the Terra, assumes the identity of a Terran astronaut, and must somehow stop a war that threatens to wipe out both sides.
