[edit] Synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

With Cole still being held captive in the Underworld by The Brotherhood, Phoebe becomes worried and even spends a night at the mausoleum, hoping to hear from him. Piper and Leo plan their honeymoon and prepare to get Leo a passport, but the plans are put on hold when Piper blows up a part of the Passport Office with her new powers. Meanwhile, Prue reassures Phoebe that Cole is alive and persuades her to go to the Manor. Cole returns to Phoebe and tells her he has been assigned to steal two parts of an amulet from witches for the Brotherhood. The head of the Brotherhood, Raynor, plans to turn Cole evil again, while holding his father's soul as leverage.

[edit] Book of Shadows

[edit] Enemies

  • The Brotherhood of the Thorn: A group of elite powerful demons highly respected and feared in the underworld. They have taken a blood oath to protect one another and are one of The Source's prized factions.
  • The Triad: A group of upper-level demonic beings who serve The Source. They assign tasks to various demons and pronounce judgement on those who fail them.

[edit] Artifacts

  • Magical Amulets: Amulets are two halves of an ancient charm. On their own, they are extremely powerful, offering a magical shield strong enough for all but the most powerful of demons to breach. Only truly great evil strength can overcome them. The amulets are useless to anyone evil, protecting only those who are good. Once the two amulets are united however, they create an object of almost limitless invulnerability. The two halves were split many years ago and given to the heads of two different covens for safekeeping.

[edit] Spells

  • Amulet Activation Spell: Evil is approaching, let darkness be withstood. Blanket me with defenses, protect me with the power of good.

[edit] Trivia

  • Piper develops the new power of Molecular combustion in this episode.
  • In this episode Piper says she wants to fly to Paris, France, rather than orb, for hers and Leo's honeymoon to experience being a "normal couple", even if in the episode From Fear to Eternity, Piper says that her greatest fear is flying in an airplane.
  • When one of the Brotherhood demons attack Piper and Prue in the manor, when Phoebe comes down to help, the demon throws an energy ball and Phoebe jumps over the banister and onto the floor when she could've simply ducked or levitated gently from the banister.
  • When Piper, Phoebe, and Prue make a blessing for the ones that they have lost, two of those blessings come true; Jenna is seen again in Death Becomes Them as one of the zombified innocents, and Cole finds peace in watching Phoebe keep love in The Seven Year Witch.
