[edit] Summary

An American flag flies over Gate 17 of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport. On September 11, 2001, United Airlines Flight 93 pushed back from the gate at 8:01 am, headed for San Francisco. Passengers learned about the coordinated attacks, and tried to overtake the airplane, resulting in the plane crashing into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
