I'm Erin, and I currently while away my time as a full-time student, web-geek, and radio slave at the University of Georgia. I study sociology and journalism, but my true passion is web design. After eight years of website funnery, I've expanded my knowledge from HTML to PHP and hope to learn more programming languages as time goes on. Grad school will certainly involve either informatics, information science, or information technology--beyond that, it's a huge world out there.
If you're interested in good music, I'm a disc jockey over at WUOG in Athens, Georgia. It's a great way to learn about new music and share good art with folks who love hearing it. As of January I'm also the General Manager of the station, which means that I am now intimate with every cranny of WUOG (and still somehow love it).
Politically, I lean left essentially because I am a woman and I am gay. Feminist philosophy helps to color my perceptions of the world, and I feel very strongly that inequality in all areas is inherently bad. That said, I also love Mariah Carey.
