Ewdison Then is the founder of several popular sites such as FedoraForum.org (one of the largest open source community), and SlashGear.com a popular gadgets and tech weblog. He was mentioned in books such as PHP und MySQL fur Kids (ISBN 3-8266-0828-3) for his work on FoxServ project. He was part of Blue Linux OS development team (Now defunct project) and known to be an open source advocate.

His site SlashGear has been mentioned in print magazine such as Business 2.0.
