Evren

Evren is a town and a district of Ankara Province of Turkey, 177 km from the city of Ankara. It covers an area of 218 km², and the population is 6,167.

This small remote town on the banks of Hirfanlı reservoir, was formerly known as Çıkılanı, and was renamed in honour of Kenan Evren, former president of Turkey.
