Evrard Louis François-Xavier Gaëtan Toussaint Marie Joseph Ghislain, Count de Limburg Stirum, born in Huldenberg on 31 Oct 1927, son of Thierry François-Xavier Marie Joseph Ghislain, Count de Limburg Stirum, and Marie-Immaculée Princess de Croy.

He married in Louveciennes on 16 January 1957 (civil), in Dreux, France on 17 January 1957 (rel.) Helene of France, Princess d'Orleans (born in Woluwe-St-Pierre 17 September 1934). They had issue:

  • Catherine, Countess de Limburg Stirum (born in Salisbury, Rhodesia, 21 Oct 1957). She married in Brussels on 18 November 1988 (divorced 1994) Ortis-Armando Galrao Exposito (born in Sao Paulo Luanda, Angola, on 6 July 1955);
  • Thierry, Count de Limburg Stirum (born in Lisbon on 24 July 1959). He married in Schoten, Belgium, on 8 September 1990 Katia, jonkvrouw della Faille de Leverghem (born in Wilrijk on 13 January 1969);
  • Louis, Count de Limburg Stirum (born in Brussels on 10 Jun 1962). He married in Tomelloso on 6 September 1996 Belen Lopez y Monteroñ (born in Madrid, Spain, on 25 December 1965);
  • Bruno, Count de Limburg Stirum (born in Huldenberg 20 February 1966). He married in Huldenberg on 17 June 1995 Christine, Countess de Lannoy (born in Renaix on 15 July 1967).

Evrard de Limburg Stirum died in Huldenberg on 5 March 2001 at age 73. His mother died in 2007 at the high age of 101.
