Ernest Vincent Pons-Worley (1957 - ). Ernesto Vicente Pons García y García Sánchez was born in Havana, Cuba on October 31, 1957. A descendant of Spanish grandparents from Barcelona, Cataluña and Vivero, Galicia (Spain) who had emigrated to Cuba during the Spanish Civl War. Pons-Worley in turn emigrated to the United States on May 3, 1966 with his parents and anglicized his name to Ernest Vincent Pons upon attaining US Citizenship on July 4, 1973. He added Worley to his surname in 2000 upon consumating a domestic partnership with Patrick Jesse John Ignatius Worley, who in turn styled himshelf Patrick Jesse Pons-Worley. Ernest Vincent Pons-Worley was educated at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida (BS, Chemistry, 1980), Regis University in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota (MBA, 2006). He is currently the Customer Service Supervisor for the Marina Coast Water District. Pons-Worley was previously employed at Ampex Corporation (1982-1985), Digital Equipment Corporation (1988-1993) and the University of California (1999-2006).
