Evolution (ad)

Dove Evolution is a TV spot produced for Dove. It is made by the advertising agency Ogilvy Toronto and was finished by October 2006. As of January 2006, the ad hadn't aired on TV yet, but it has been viewed well over 3 million times on YouTube, and already won some awards.
The short film shows a normal-looking girl (22 years old Stephanie Betts) being turned into a model, with help from hours of make-up, hair fixing and digital manipulation of her. The transformation is shown in its entirety, but compressed down to a minimum of time.
The music featured in the ad is a specialized version of the song Passage D by The Flashbulb, from his album Kirlian Selections.
