Evoloterra

Evoloterra is a secular holiday celebrating human achievement in general, and the event of the first manned moon landing in particular. It is celebrated on July 20th. It is largely celebrated by the community of space enthusiasts, and was originally popularized by Rand Simberg, a popular blogger who writes on space-related topics.
The holiday itself includes a Seder like ceremony that retells the story of the Apollo 11 mission, and links it to other milestones in the evolution of life on earth, such as the colonization of land by the first land-dwelling animals.
