Evergreen Freedom Foundation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Evergreen Freedom Foundation is a private, non-profit public policy think tank founded by Bob Williams, a former Republican state legislator. Its stated goals are to "advance individual liberty, free enterprise and limited, accountable government", and it is funded by the Scaife foundations and Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation.
The group's original goal was to fight the Washington Education Association's use of dues for political purposes; it also played an important role in Dino Rossi's unsuccessful attempt to challenge the result of the 2004 Washington State governor election.
