For garden-lovers, the Everglades in Leura make for a tranquil place to spend a couple of hours. Created in the 1930s by famed designer Paul Sorenson, the Everglades is one of Australia’s most famous heritage gardens. Elaborate sandstone terraces, sweeping lawns and 12 acres of European-style landscapes sit against a backdrop of native bush and escarpment views.
