The ELC has its origins in Europe and there are branches in a couple of West-European counties (Germany, the Netherlands, the Scandinavian countries). This article should be global in scope. — mark 16:56, 4 September 2005 (UTC)


I removed the worldwide view because this is about a specific lutheran group in the US not the overall worldwide lutheran church. perhaps it should be retitled EVangelical Lutheran Church (US denomination) or something like that Smith03 19:10, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
