Evander Sno (born 9 April 1987 in Dordrecht, Netherlands) is a Dutch international footballer.[1] He currently plays for Scottish team Celtic F.C. after signing from Feyenoord Rotterdam of the Netherlands in 2006, and was given squad number 15.[2] He has also featured for the Dutch under-19 international team. Sno typically plays in a defensive midfield role, but during a period on loan to NAC Breda, he was utilised in 9 different field positions.

On signing for Celtic, it was widely reported in the Scottish media that Sno was named after the former Boxing World Heavyweight Champion, Evander Holyfield.[3]

He made his full debut in a League Cup 3rd Round victory over St Mirren, drawing praise from his manager for his performance [4] and made his Old Firm debut during Celtic's 2-0 defeat of Rangers F.C. on September 23, 2006, substituting Shunsuke Nakamura during the latter stages of the match.[5] In November 2006, Sno scored his first goal for Celtic against Hibernian in an SPL game. On 20th February he was named Man of the Match in Celtic's Champions League tie with Italian club A.C. Milan.[6]

In October 2006, Sno was included in the Dutch national team for the friendly against England.
