Evan Jenkins

Evan Jenkins is a United States politician from the state of West Virginia. Jenkins is a West Virginia State Senator from the 5th District, which contains Cabell County and a small portion of Wayne County. After previously serving in the West Virginia House of Delegates, Jenkins was elected to the state senate in 2002 after defeating fellow Democrat incumbent Marie Redd in the primary election and former State Senator Thomas F. Scott in the general election. In 2006 he once again defeated Redd in the primary and Scott in the November general election.
