Evan "Easy" Esquerra is a supporting character in the independent comic El Muerto created by Javier Hernandez
Evan is a comic book artist for "Back Alley Comics" and best friends with Diego de la Muerte. His son was even Diego's godchild. Little does he know that Diego has been reborn as the undead hero, El Muerto.

- Evan is shown working on a comic book panel for the Back Alley Comics character, "Weapon Tex-Mex". This particular superhero appeared in his own short story at the end of the first issue of El Muerto.
- Evan does not appear in the film adaption of El Muerto.
