[edit] Merge E6 and E47

They shall not be merged. They are independent roads according to the authority deciding this. See the official document. [1]. There is a common history, E6 was planned to be called E47 at the system change, but it was decided by UNECE to call the Swedish and Norwegian part of E47, E6. BIL 14:20, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

That document makes no mention of the issue, other than to list the routes themselves. 81.104.170.167 16:57, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Why should we merge them ? The official document separate them. BIL 20:27, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
I refer my learned colleague to the answer I gave some hours ago. 81.104.170.167 16:52, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Which answer? The answer "That document makes no mention of the issue, other than to list the routes themselves." is in my opinion a reason not to merge them, since it is the offical document and doesn't mention any connection between E6 and E47. Please give a better reason. /BIL 19:19, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
The document you have provided does not support your viewpoint. You state "they are independent roads according to the authority deciding this", the document doesn't support this - it merely lists the routes. It doesn't say that they're the same, and it doesn't say that they're different. You are inferring that they are different. 81.104.170.167 04:40, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Keep them separate, unless you find a reliable source that says otherwise. ZorroIII 19:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
