European Committee for Homeopathy

The European Committee for Homeopathy or ECH is an association for homeopathic medical doctors and other statutorily-regulated health professionals in the field of homeopathy (i.e. veterinary surgeons (veterinarians), dentists, pharmacists and midwives), who are registered in the European Union. Through the activities of its various sub-committees, it works on issues related to education, politics, pharmacy, documentation, research, provings (homeopathic medicine tests), veterinary medicine, dentistry and patients/users policy. It is supported by other professionals whose expert input provides an essential contribution to the development of homeopathy i.e. researchers, documentalists and patients' organisations.
The published aims are:
To promote and defend the quality of the science of medical homeopathy with the European authorities. To defend, by all legal means, the practice of homeopathy with the European authorities. To promote research in homeopathy. To assist all the people it represents in their local activities. To promote the harmonisation of the practice of homeopathic medicine in Europe. To represent individuals as well as local, regional and national organisations throughout Europe which share the same aims.
