Eugene Corporon

Eugene Migliaro Corporon is a highly regarded North American Wind Ensemble conductor and as a wind band pedagogue, is considered an authority on wind/band music repertoire. He is co-editor of two literature catalogues, Wind Ensemble/Band Repertoire (1984) and Wind Ensemble Literature (1975). He also is co-host on the Inner Game of Music videotape.

Dr. Corporon has premiered and/or presented in performance many American wind group works. He is also a regular subscriber to the Canadian Music Centre's resources on Canadian wind band repertoire.

Eugene Corporon is the conductor of the Wind Symphony and Regents Professor of Music at the University of North Texas. He has previously held similar positions at other institutions in the United States and throughout the world.
