Delfzijl in the municipality of Delfzijl.

Delfzijl (53°20′N 6°55′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is a part of the municipality of Delfzijl, and lies about 26 km east of Groningen.

The statistical area "Delfzijl", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 17080.[1]
