Location of Savigliano in Italy

Savigliano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 45 km south of Turin and about 30 km north of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 20,456 and an area of 110.7 km2.[1]

The municipality of Savigliano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Apparizione, Canavere, Levaldigi, S.Giacomo, S.Rosalia, Sanità, and Suniglia.

Savigliano borders the following municipalities: Cavallermaggiore, Cervere, Fossano, Genola, Lagnasco, Marene, Monasterolo di Savigliano, Scarnafigi, Verzuolo, Villafalletto, Vottignasco.
