Novara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 102,746 and an area of 103.0 km2.[1]
The municipality of Novara contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Lumellogno, Olengo, Pernate, Torrion Quartara, Agognate, Casalgiate, Cascina Montà, Cascina Roggia Mora, Gionzana, and Pagliate.
Novara borders the following municipalities: Caltignaga, Cameri, Casalino, Galliate, Garbagna Novarese, Granozzo con Monticello, Nibbiola, Romentino, San Pietro Mosezzo, Trecate.
