Alba is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km southeast of Turin and about 60 km northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 30,083 and an area of 54.0 km2.[1]

Alba borders the following municipalities: Barbaresco, Benevello, Borgomale, Castiglione Falletto, Corneliano d'Alba, Diano d'Alba, Grinzane Cavour, Guarene, La Morra, Monticello d'Alba, Piobesi d'Alba, Roddi, Serralunga d'Alba, Treiso, Trezzo Tinella.
