Etwall

Etwall (SK 268 316) is a civil parish and village in Derbyshire, England. It is located southwest from Derby on the A50. Many of the inhabitants work at the Toyota car factory which is located east of the village.

The village has its own public library and two major schools. A sewage plant is also located slightly south of the village. The main church there is Saint Helens Church. A war memorial is also located there in the shadow of a memorial tree which was planted in the 1800s.

Etwall is famous for its Well dressing festival every May.

The village is also the birthplace of the famous recusant priest John Gerard, S.J.
