The Society of Shadows is a relatively new Satanic Organization that has finally found fruition from the mind of the founder, Rev. Eric T. Schuetz. What started off as a group idea to help settle a thirst for belonging with other satanists, I played with creating a Yahoo Group based around the SoS. I inevitably gave it up, due to a search on Yahoo Groups for satanic groups. The result was a MASSIVE number of groups, ranging in numbers. I did not want the Society of Shadows to be another Yahoo Group in the mix that would get lost in the shuffle. At that time, I knew I did not have much to offer the Satanic Community.
Over the course of the last 6 years, I have delved deeply into the occult. For a short time during then, I even stepped back and examined my beliefs and philosophies. Moving away from Satanism and exploring various other outlets. In the end, I returned to satanism, knowing that it was where I belonged. I collected a large variety of influential books, ranging from Wicca/Witchcraft, Thelema, General Occult, Traditional Satanism, Goetia, and others. I have read them, still read them, and continue to broaden my perspectives.
With all of that in mind, I have decided that the time is now. The time for the Society of Shadows to come to fruition has come. I know I have the resources to make it worth while. I know I have the limitless abilities to provide a worthwhile experience to others.
