Ethnographic regions of Lithuania. Legend:

  • White lines - current country borders
  • Darker zone - territory of modern day Lithuania
  • Black lines - borders of Lithuanian ethnographic regions
  • Large red dots with words - cities over 100'000 inhabittants
  • Small red dots with names - cities with less than 100'000 inhabittants, marked only if they are considered capital of ethnographic region.
  • Underlined names of cities - the city is considered capital of ethnographic region
