Ethel Shannon

Ethel Shannon (May 22, 1898 – July 10, 1951) was an American silent-film actress.
Ethel was born and educated in Denver, Colorado. Following the completion of her education, she travelled to Hollywood to make a fortune. She was soon asked by a friend if she desired to be an extra in a moving picture, and Ehtel readily accepted the offer, sparking her film career.
Soon after, Ethel had signed a contract with a movie studio. In 1923, she was selected as one of the WAMPAS Baby Stars.
She married actor Joseph Jackson and together they had one son. The marriage ended upon Joseph's death in 1932.
Ethel's last film role was in the 1927 film Through Thick and Thin, although she had an uncredited role in the 1935 film Stars over Broadway.
Ethel Shannon died in 1951 in Hollywood, California.
