[edit] ESWAT games
- ESWAT Cyber Police (1989), also called Cyber Police ESWAT, is an arcade action game.
- ESWAT: City Under Siege (1990) is an action game for the Sega Genesis console, inspired by the aforementioned arcade, but featuring entirely different levels, weapons, and enemies.
[edit] Acronym
ESWAT is an acronym for the Enhanced Special Weapons and Tactics division of the fictional Cyber Police formed by the mayor of Liberty City (arcade version) or Cyber City (console version) to fight a rampant crime crisis. The ESWAT division uses armored suits (much like RoboCop) with upgradeable weaponry to rid the city of wrongdoers.
