[edit] Summary

Complex water fountain that was originally built as part of a thesis project for a degree in physics at the Simón Bolívar University. It was conceived to be running everyday, but the structure was far more expensive to move than planned. According to the authors this was due to the use of heavier cheaper materials than necesary.

The fountain is now turned on in special events like graduations and the anniversary of the foundation of the university. This photo was taken while in motion on the night of the University's 30th anniversary.
