Estonia (song)

Estonia is a song from the British progressive rock band Marillion. It appears on their album This Strange Engine (1997).
The song was written after singer Steve Hogarth met the only British survivor from the accident where the passenger ferry Estonia sank in the Baltic Sea in September 1994, claiming the lives of 852 people.
