Estadio Monumental Isidro Romero Carbo

The Estadio Monumental Isidro Romero Carbo (Estadio Monumental de Barcelona before its renaming in 1997) is a football stadium located in the parish of Tarqui in the north of Guayaquil, Ecuador. It was inaugurated on December 27, 1987, and is the home to the Ecuadorian football club Barcelona Sporting Club. Barcelona's first game was against Peñarol.
The Estadio Monumental Isidro Romero Carbo has a capacity of 83,835 spectators, four health care facilities, apparel-and-souvenir shops, and restaurants, on a total area of about 5,100 square metres. The football field is 105 metres long and 70 metres wide.
