Esperanza High School is a 9th–12th grade public high school located in Anaheim, California that is part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. It is a California Distinguished School and home to many excellent athletic programs. EHS is a member of the Sunset League, which is part of the Southern Section of the California Interscholastic Federation.
More than 3,100 students attend the school. Most come from nearby Yorba Linda, California with the rest generally residing in East Placentia and East Anaheim.
Esperanza was ranked #403 out of the "Top 1,000 U.S. Schools" in MSNBC/Newsweek's 2005 list.
Esperanza has an award-winning national championship dance team.
