[edit] Admin
You are correct that I am not an admin. The idea is attractive since there are a number of backlogs, for example copyvio issues, that I should like to tackle. It may, however, be considered to be a little early. I am away for a couple of days so I will think on about it. Thanks again. TerriersFan 03:24, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Summary style article
The Baha'i Faith article is a summary style article, and there are a lot of important things that could be mentioned, but a left to daughter articles. For example, many of the main principles of the Baha'i Faith including Baha'i Faith and gender equality are left to daughter articles. Huququllah is already in the Bahá'í laws page which is linked from the main page. -- Jeff3000 16:00, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ah (You're welcome/sorry
Sorry/You're welcome... Sometimes I make judgements too fast anyways (Was a bit rushed). For pages you created yourself that you want deleted you can use {{db-author}}... and from what I remember, Redirect links only work with Wikilinks (The two square brackets, [[ ]]) and not external links, which are single square brackets. Hopefully that's helpful, and sorry I didn't mention it on your talk page. 24.89.197.136/Logical2u on enforced Wikibreak 15:35, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please don't be silly
Please don't mess about with joke edits - we try hard here to produce something we can all be proud of - silliness doesn't help. Articles are monitored and users messing about face a block or a ban. Why not try and contribute something useful instead? Have a look at the below and get stuck in properly:
- Image:Crystal 128 ksmiletris.png The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
- Fun stuff...
Thanks - and enjoy yourself as a responsible Wikipedian! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 16:54, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

- Hello. I appreciate your interest in Esperanza, but you currently don't meet the 150 edit requirement. Your edit count can be found here (look under Mainspace edits). Thank you, and I hope you try to join Esperanza again. Bushcarrot 23:14, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edit summaries
Please note that it is not really considered appropriate to use edit summaries to promote your personal web site. Try to avoid doing this in the future. (ESkog)(Talk) 02:51, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to Esperanza
Welcome, Eskimospy, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. You can support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact our administrator general Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!
[edit] List of Famous Smokers.
I removed the AfD from this because it linked back to the original discussion, and you didn't change it to point to a new one, nor offered any reasons, nor stuck the new debate in the AfD list. If you want to re-nominate it, go ahead, just be sure to follow the checklist at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. SnowFire 02:58, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kansas City/City of Kansas
Hey there, just wanted to better explain why I reverted your edit. When the city was first incorporated, it did so under the name Kansas. If I recall correctly, it wasn't till quite a bit later that it became Kansas City (don't remember if this was before or after the State of Kansas joined the union or not...) Anyways, it looks like you caught the tail end of two edits by 68.102.2.92, the first of which where he turned "the City of Kansas" to "The City of Kansas City", in what I assume to be an attempt to remedy a perceived typo. Afterwards, he realized his mistake, and reverted it... I'm guessing you saw this last edit and acted upon that one, no? --Reverend Loki 23:01, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] userbox
Hello, can you please tell me why (on my talk page) you removed one of the pictures from my userboxes? Also, what does "fair use of image correction" mean. Thank You--eskimospy(talk) 15:51, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, according to the fair-use policy (#9), images which are used on Wikipedia under fair-use may only be used in the articlespace, not the user- or template-space. I recommend reading User:Durin/Removal of fair use images as well. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 16:14, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
