[edit] Biography

By 2002, Luís and Carlos (Xulo) start playing guitar together just for fun. This experience made them think of creating a band. But, that was not as easy as it sounds... It was really difficult to find bass and drum players.

One Night, when they were already changed by alcohol effects, Xulo talked João into buying a bass, learning to play it and joining the band. Things were getting better, but there were still missing a drummer. That was when Xulo found a solution to the problem, he decided to learn playing drums, he borrow it from a friend called Xico, that played guitar in the band for some time too, and the only thing they were needing was a singer.

It could seem easy to found, but four years passed and the band still had no vocals. One afternoon, Pedro went to see his friends playing, just as so many friends that used to go there, and they finished all together composing a new music and letter, that officially declared the joining of all members of the band.

Last, but not least, they just had to get a name for the band. “Eskap” was the chosen, because all of they played music as an escape from the work, from the problems of life, an escape from the society where we’re living that sometimes it’s so unfair… well, music is for all of Eskap’s members not only a passion, but also a “Eskap”.

A year later, a new element had joined the band, his name is Jorge and came to play drums, Xulo return to the lead guitar.
