Eschershausen is a municipality in the district of Holzminden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approx. 20 km northeast of Holzminden, and 50 km south of Hanover.

Eschershausen is also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Eschershausen, which consists of the following municipalities:

  • Dielmissen
  • Eimen
  • Eschershausen
  • Holzen
  • Lüerdissen
