Escape From Taliban is a 2003 Indian film directed by Ujjal Chattopadhyaya. The film is based on the story of Sushmita Bandhopadhya who fled Afghanistan in 1995 after six years of living there when the Taliban issued a death sentence for her after her refusal to convert to Islam. [1]
